Dr. Read is Retiring December 1st, 2023

I am retiring from my Medical Practice as of Dec 1st, 2023. It has been a privilege to have provided primary medical care for my patients since 1978.

Dr. Kate Kim will be joining the practice. She will be taking on many of the existing patients but unfortunately will not be able to accommodate those living outside the Fraser Health Region.

Those living outside the region will need to find a new Family Doctor or a Nurse Practitioner. Chart transfers can be sent to the office. 

COVID-19 Updates & Information

Spring Boosters For people most at risk: Over 80, or Indigenous & over 70, or in LTC or immunocompromised.

The following can consider a booster: Have not previously contracted COVID-19 & are over age 60 or are Indigenous & over 50.

Everyone 5 and older can get a bivalent vaccine for their COVID-19 booster.
One bivalent booster dose currently offers enough protection for most people.

Masks in healthcare settings Wearing masks in most healthcare settings is a personal choice & not required by public health. In some healthcare settings, patients must wear a medical mask when requested by a healthcare professional.
